Dozens of West Craven Middle Students went out of their way to thank the Craven County Sheriff’s Office for all of their work to return 3-year-old Casey Hathaway to his family.
They sent thank you cards the students put together for the deputies and Sheriff Chip Hughes.
Students from Mrs. Rebecca Epting Dearien’s 6th grade homeroom class showed their gratitude, thankfulness, and appreciation for all of their hard work.
Students say they are grateful for the volunteers’ determination and passion and for law enforcement efforts to bring the utmost service to Craven County.
