CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) – Authorities in North Carolina say a school bus with students aboard crashed into a building, but only minor injuries were reported.

News outlets report the crash happened Thursday morning in Charlotte. Images from the scene show the tilted back half of the bus protruding from the corner of a residential building with the emergency door open.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools officials said in a statement that 15 students were headed to Ranson Middle School on the bus when the crash happened. Officials say no serious injuries were reported.
