Traffic stop in Maxton leads to drug arrest

Robeson County deputies discovered drugs while performing a traffic stop in Maxton. 

According to a Facebook post from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on Friday. Deputies pulled over 31-year-old Randall Jacobs, of Maxton. During the traffic stop, deputies discovered marijuana and cocaine. 

Jacobs is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia and resist, delay and obstruct an officer discharging duties. 

At last check, Jacobs was in custody at the Robeson County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.
