Thousands of people across Savannah stood in line for hours waiting for a shot at a role in Disney’s live action version of Lady and the Tramp.

The movie is filming in Savannah and held open auditions Saturday.

The line of hopefuls wrapped around the entire Savannah Civic Center. Directors were looking for people of all ages and ethnicities and no experience was required.

Some of the little ones told us…they stayed up all night to practice.

“I was actually looking at some videos and tips to see like what’s the best thing to do and stuff like that. So that’s what I did,” said Lania Frazier.

“I brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, looked through a lot of clothes. looked through a lot of shoes, and I drove here.,” said Ella Nightingale.

The movie is filming in Savannah right now and will finish up in November.
