SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – First Circuit Solicitor David M. Pascoe announces that 36-year-old Jimi Carl Redman, Jr. of Haltom City, Texas, was sentenced today to 33 years in prison by the Honorable R. Keith Kelly after entering a plea to murder in Dorchester County.
The case was prosecuted by First Assistant Solicitor Donald Sorenson and Assistant Solicitor Sheila Mims.
This charge comes from an incident that occurred on April 2, 2015 in which the defendant shot and killed Lynn Harrison at the intersection of Bacons Bridge Road and Trolley Road in the Town of Summerville, according to the report.
The case was investigated by detectives with the Summerville Police Department.
