Suspect in Robeson County murder case turns himself in

Nicholas Locklear turned himself in to Robeson County deputies on Sunday in connection to a deadly shooting on Friday. 

According to a press release, Locklear is charged in connection to the death of Mitchell D. Emanuel, 29, of Lumber Bridge who was found shot in his home early Friday morning. Emanuel later died from his injuries. 

Locklear is charged with first-degree murder in the case and is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center, without bond.
