Some North Carolina food stamp recipients to get April benefits early

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services has some good news for food stamp recipients about their April benefits.

Health officials said families and individuals who usually receive Food and Nutrition Services benefits between the 1st and 11th days of each month will get their April food stamps on their regularly-scheduled date.

People who usually receive food stamps between the 12th and 21st of each month will receive April’s food stamps on April 12th.

All Food and Nutrition Services benefits will resume normal distribution dates in May.
