Silver Alert canceled for elderly Robeson County man

A Silver Alert previously issued for an elderly Robeson County man has been canceled.

The Silver Alert for Arthur Jennings, 75, was canceled around 6 p.m. on Thursday at the request of the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, according to the NC Center for Missing Persons.

The NC Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Jennings around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to a North Carolina Silver Alert Announcement. Jennings was believed to be suffering from dementia or another cognitive impairment.

Jennings was described as a Black male, about 5 feet, 7 inches and 190 pounds, bald and having brown eyes.

The following vehicle description was given in the original announcement: 2018 Dodge Caravan, black in color, with an Illinois license plate numbered AU17672.
