Many school districts will be closed on Wednesday, September 19 following damage and flooding from Tropical Storm Florence. Districts that will be closed include:
SOUTH CAROLINA:
- Horry County Schools
- Coastal Carolina University- closed through Friday
- Dillon School District Three
- Marlboro County School District
- Horry Georgetown Technical College- classes canceled remainder of week
- Chesterfield County Schools
- Darlington County School District schools and district offices
- Emmanuel Christian School
- Marion County School District
NORTH CAROLINA:
- Robeson County Schools closed until further notice
- Brunswick County Schools- closed through Friday
- Columbus County Schools- closed through Friday
- Scotland County Schools- closed Wednesday for students and staff, closed Thursday and Friday for students
- Bladen Community College- remain closed through Sunday
