GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – A Greenville man has been sentenced to 28 years for child sex crimes, according to Solicitor Walt Wilkins.

Shannon Earl Garland, 46, of Greenville was convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and exposure of private parts in a lewd and lascivious manner.

Prosecutors say Garland sexually abused the girl when she was nine and ten years old between 2014 and 2016.

He is not eligible for parole.
