South Carolina’s top prosecutor is offering veterans, reservists and active-duty service members a way to get some legal assistance at no cost.
Attorney General Alan Wilson hosted a free legal clinic from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday at the Greenwood County Veterans Center.
This clinic was sponsored by the Attorney General’s V.A.L.O.R. Program, which stands for “Veterans, Active and Reserve Legal OutReach.”
Area lawyers are volunteering their time at the clinic. Participants were able to get help with legal documents like wills, limited power of attorney, advanced medical directives and disposition of remains.
