South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis Jr. joined News13 NOW at 9 a.m. to talk about a special savings account program called S.C. A.B.L.E. The acronym stands for South Carolina Achieving a Better Life Experience.
The accounts allow people with disabilities the opportunity to save and invest money without jeopardizing existing government benefits such as Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
