The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects who are wanted for murder and other charges.
A post on the office’s Facebook page says 20-year-old Geronimo Jones and 40-year-old Judy Kay Lowery are both wanted for first degree murder, felony conspiracy, and discharging a weapon in occupied property.
On Sunday around 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 5700 block of NC 211 Highway East in Lumberton in reference to several people shot, according to the post. Deputies found Nylah Vereen, 20, unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head and her boyfriend, 21-year-old Rockeiem Young, shot in the hand and leg.
Anyone with information about the locations of the two suspects or the case is asked to contact the RCSO at 910-671-3100.
