Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a possible accidental shooting in the Shannon area.
The RCSO “is currently investigating what appears to be an accidental shooting,” according to a press release from the RCSO. The shooting happened on Russell Rd. in Shannon.
The victim, a 35-year-old woman, suffered a gunshot to her upper leg, the release says. She was taken to a hospital for treatment and her condition is unknown as of this posting.
