LUMBERTON, SC (WBTW) – A Lumberton man surrendered to investigators on charges he struck a four-wheeler with his pickup.
Grant Lee Hunt, 44, has been charged with injury to personal property and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury.
Investigators say on Jan 25, a person riding a four-wheeler on Pine Long Road toward Highway 72 W reported seeing a white Ford truck speeding toward him. The victim reported the vehicle crossed the lane of traffic and struck his four-wheeler, according to investigators.
The victim received medical treatment after the incident.
Hunt was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center with a $55,000 secured bond.
