A man who goes by the name ‘Pooh Daddy’, who was seen recently in Robeson County, has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a school bus driver in North Carolina.

According to Bladen County Sheriff James McVicker, Michael Darrell Smith aka ‘Pooh Daddy’ was arrested Friday afternoon at a relative’s home in Cumberland County.

On Monday, deputies say Smith, while with another woman, confronted a bus driver at Elizabethtown Middle School in Bladen County, pointed a gun at her and ordered her to give him her personal vehicle.

After the incident, deputies announced that Smith and the vehicle he stole were last seen in the Red Springs area of Robeson County.

Smith was arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.
