LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – Police say a 40-year-old Lumberton man had been shot multiple times on Sunday morning.
When officers were called to the Southeastern Medical Center they found Jimmy Tilley, 40, of Lumberton with multiple gun wounds. The incident happened around 8:25 a.m.
Tilley had been taken to the hospital by an unknown person and dropped off, police say.
Tilley was not able to speak to officers and was transported to another facility for treatment. His injuries are serious but not life threatening, police report.
