One person was killed when two cars collided Friday evening in Scotland County near the Hoke County line.
According to a dispatcher with the North Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened on River Road just after 5 p.m. Friday. 35-year-old Jamie Locklear McMillan died in the crash.
It is unclear if weather played a part in the crash.
