CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is wanted for a triple homicide in New York City. The NYPD believes that man has ties to the Lowcountry.
Right now, officials are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Sam Cross.
They believe Cross has ties to both Charleston and Colleton Counties and may be hiding out from law enforcement in the area.
Officials say Cross shot and killed three people in front of a home in the early morning hours of June 21, 2018.
The crime happened along the 600 block of Castle Hill Avenue in the Bronx.
Cross is described as a black male, 5’9” in height and weighing 200 lbs. They say he has black hair and brown eyes.
