CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – New information has been released in the disappearance of a plane off the Charleston coast back in October.
The report says contact with the plane was lost on October 25th at about 11:20 a.m.
According to a report by the NTSB, the pilot made two transmissions calling out an emergency before the plane disappeared, indicating the plane was going down.
That report also states a coast guard plane later spotted an oil slick on the water near the plane’s last known coordinates.
All five people that were on board are presumed dead.
There is still no word on what caused the plane to go down.
