ERNUL, N.C. (WNCT) – Missing three-year-old Casey Hathaway has been found alive, according to Craven County Sheriff Chip Hughes.
The toddler was found near the home on Toler Road in Craven County where he went missing.
Hughes said Casey is getting medical attention.
Casey went missing Tuesday afternoon.
He was playing outside with two other children at a relative’s house, but when they went inside, he stayed out.
They looked for the 3-year-old for about 45 minutes before calling 911.

Since then, numerous law enforcement agencies, as well as hundreds of volunteers, have been on the lookout for the child.
