A man wanted for rape in Robeson County has turned himself in, the sheriff’s office says.
Travis Lee Evans, 33, turned himself in to investigators at the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, according to a press release from the RCSO. Evans is charged with two counts of second degree forcible rape.
“One of the charges is in relation to an incident that occurred on October 27, 2018,” the release says. “The second charge is in relation to an incident that occurred on October 26, 2018 and was investigated by Lumberton Police Department.”
Evans was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center with a $200,000 secured bond.
