A man was shot in the leg during a dispute with his brother in Robeson County and alcohol is believed to be factor, deputies say.

Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 200 block of Asberry Rd in the St. Pauls area around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday for a person shot, according to a press release from the RCSO.

Donald Jackson, 60, of St. Pauls, was reportedly shot in the leg during a dispute with his brother. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.

An investigation is ongoing and “alcohol is believed to be a contributor to the incident.”
