LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – A man ran from the Robeson County Magistrates Office and jumped into the Lumber River on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Captain Terry Parker, with the Lumberton Police Department, a man ran from the magistrates office, located on N. Elm Street in Lumberton, on Tuesday afternoon and then jumped into the Lumber River.

The man has been found safe and is reportedly in custody for domestic violence.
