A man has been arrested for stealing cattle in Robeson County. 

Kevin Carl Hagens, Jr. was arrested on Tuesday for the theft of cattle in the Shannon area, according to a press release from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. Hagans was charged with felony conspiracy, larceny of cattle, felony possession of cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance on the premises of a jail. 

Hagens was booked into the Robeson County Detention Center with a $5,000 secured bond for the larceny charges and a $5,000 unsecured bond on his narcotics charges. 

During an investigation, law enforcement officers found that Hagens and others sold over 25 cattle in Smithfield, NC.
