Lumberton police are investigating after a person was shot on East 2nd Street on Monday.
The shooting took place at 908 East 2nd Street around 3:48 p.m. on Monday, according to Lt. Vernon Johnson, with the Lumberton Police Department. One person was shot during the incident and transported to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Robert Nolley at 910-671-3845.
