LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – Lumberton police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday afternoon.
According to Captain Terry Parker with the police department, the shooting happened around 2:25 p.m. in the area of 11th Street and Willow Street. After they arrived on scene, officers found out someone had been shot and taken to an area hospital.
The victim should be ok, Capt. Parker says. Police say the victim was able to tell authorities that a man in a grey car shot him.
