MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Horry County police say what started as a routine traffic stop, ended with a crash on Highway 544 in Myrtle Beach.
A Facebook post from the department says an officer attempted to make a “routine traffic stop” when the driver refused to pull over and led officers on a short chase. The chase ended when the suspect’s vehicle flipped near Hwy 544 and Dick Pond Road.
No injuries were reported and the suspect is in custody, according to the post. The suspect’s name has not been released.
