FedEx driver from Robeson County killed in crash near Wilmington

WILMINGTON AREA, NC (WBTW) – A FedEx driver from Robeson County was killed in a crash near Wilmington, North Carolina on Thursday.

Ronald Glenn Nash, II, 35, was killed in the crash, according to North Carolina Highway Patrol 1^st Sgt. Matthew W. King. Nash had a Red Springs, NC address.

CBS-affiliate WWAY reports that Nash was killed after the FedEx truck he was driving hit the back of a tractor-trailer on I-40. The truck then caught fire.

The crash caused the tractor-trailer to hit a wrecker, which then hit a car, WWAY reports. No other serious injuries were reported.
