A Los Angeles top-ten most wanted fugitive has been spotted in Mount Pleasant.
FBI agents are urging you to be on the lookout for 47-year-old Greg Carlson.
The alleged sexual predator was arrested in Los Angeles in September of last year following an armed sexual assault.
After Carlson posted bond he fled to Mount Pleasant, SC in a rental car.
Police believe he also had a stolen gun and plenty of cash.
Last November he was seen in Hoover, Alabama where he led police on an erratic high-speed chase. It was ended because of safety concerns.
Later that month, he was seen in Jacksonville, Florida. But two weeks ago, he was spotted in Mount Pleasant where he has known ties.
Carlson has been seen in a white Hyundai Accent.
Capt. Billy Hayes With the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement, “We believe this collaborative effort will lead to the apprehension of Greg Carlson, an individual who has viciously attacked women and threatened the public safety over the past decade.”
There is a $100,000 reward in exchange for information that can lead to Carlson’s arrest.
If you’ve seen him, you are asked to call the FBI at 888-226-8443. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
