Multiple agencies assisted in executing several search warrants related to the thefts of guns in the Lumberton area Monday.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office says its department assisted the Lumberton Police Department, along with members of ATF and FBI in executing four search warrants; two at the Red Roof Inn on Capuano Street in Lumberton, one at 104 Ford Frive in Lumberton and one on Alamac Road in Lumberton.
21-year-old Brandon Lee Locklear of Lumberton was arrested during the Red Roof Inn search. A firearm was located during the search, according to deputies. Locklear has past convictions for breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. He’s currently being held without bond.
42-year-old Dorash Winbush of St. Pauls was charged by police in the same search. He faces drug charges.
23-year-old James Austin McDonald of Lumberton was arrested during the search of the Ford Drive home. His charges include larceny of a firearm, two counts of safecracking and drug charges. He was also wanted by police for two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
