Duke Energy says you will not be able to to pay your bill at third-party locations like groceries stores right now.
They say they have found security vulnerabilities in its system and more than 300,000 customers in the Carolinas could be affected.
If you need to pay your bill, you can still do it online at a Western Union location over the phone or by check.
