KINSTON, N.C. (WCNT) – According to Trooper Ipock with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, John Williams of Kinston was speeding in a Chevrolet Suburban around 9:30pm on Friday night on Dobbs Farm Road in Kinston when he ran through a red light at the intersection with U.S. 258 North.
North Lenoir Fire and Rescue posted a picture on Facebook, saying Williams ran through an intersection, speeding and collided with eight vehicles at HFT Sales.
The suburban was launched into the air and landed on top of multiple vehicles.
