Deputies in Robeson County have charged a man with multiple drug charges following a traffic stop on I-95 between Lumberton and Rowland.
According to a press release from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies pulled over Marcus Laquan Small. During this traffic stop, deputies discovered and seized heroin, marijuana, suboxone strips, drug paraphernalia, a firearm and approximately $525 in cash.
During the investigation, Small gave officers a false name and attempted to hide the drugs, according to the release.
Small is being charged with Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Heroin, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana up to a ½ ounce, Maintaining a Drug Dwelling/Vehicle/Place, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Small was arrested and placed in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $1,000,000 secured bond.
