On Friday deputies with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for statutory rape, according to a press release.
41-year-old Pedro Mina of St. Pauls is charged with indecent liberties with a child and statutory rape of a child under the age of 15. The charges are connected to an incident that took place on Tuesday.
Mina was arrested and taken to the Robeson County Detention Center where he was issued a $50,000 secured bond. At last check, he remains in custody.
