Absentee voting in Horry County will be open until November 5 and voter registration will be open until Wednesday ahead of the 2018 General Election.
The 2018 General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, a press release from Horry County Government says. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. When voting in person, voters will be asked to show one of the following current photo identifications at the polling place:
- SC Driver’s License
- SC Department of Motor Vehicles ID Card
- SC Voter Registration Card with Photo
- Federal Military ID
- US Passport
Voters can view their voter registration information online at scvotes.org, according to the release. Voters unsure of their voting location can contact the Horry County Registration and Election Office as 843-915-5440 or online here.
The last day to vote absentee in the county is Monday, November 5. Those who are not registered to vote yet can register until Wednesday.
In person absentee voting will be open until 5 p.m. on November 5. To vote absentee in person, visit your county registration office. To vote absentee by mail, request an absentee ballot to be mailed to your home and return it by mail, or to your county voter registration office by 7 p.m. on the day of the election.
