Five people were shot early Saturday morning at a party in Robeson County.
According to Robeson County Sheriff Ken Sealey, the shooting occurred at a party off of a private dirt road off of Modest Road in the Maxton area, at around 2 a.m.
Sheriff Sealey said there were about 300 people at the party when an argument broke out. Five people were shot and are expected to recover. All five were taken to the hospital, one had to have surgery after being shot in the hand.
The case is still being investigated, anyone with information is asked to call the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
