Fifteen people were arrested and three are wanted after the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office conducted an undercover operation.

Between January 14 and Jan. 20, the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Unit and road platoons arrested 15 people out of 18 criminally charged on outstanding warrants during “Operation Street Sweeper,” according to a press release from the SCSO. 

“The 18 are a result from a two month undercover operation conducted within the city/county of Scotland,” states the release. 

Those arrested and charged include:

  • Robert Singletary, of S. Turnpike Rd. in Laurinburg
  • Tyrone Allen Jones, of Robinson Ave. in Ellerbe, NC
  • Keisha Lingelbach, of Haney Dr. in Laurinburg
  • William Smiling, of Hasty Rd. in Laurinburg
  • Teresa Stafford, of Hasty Rd. in Laurinburg
  • Lorrie Prevatte, of Hickory St. in Laurinburg
  • Timothy Stevens, Jr., of Milton St. in Laurinburg
  • Dablenski McNair, of W. Blvd. in Laurinburg
  • George Mitchell, of Bizzell St. in Laurinburg
  • Michael Steven Ivey, of Bayfield Rd. in Laurel Hill
  • Jordan Walters, of Douglas Ave. in Laurel Hill
  • Dashaun Corneluis, of Pate St. in Laurel Hill
  • Jennifer Cruz, of S. Pine St. in Laurinburg
  • Derran McClain, of Deep Forest Dr. in Durham, NC
  • Marcus Beatty, of Chapel Hill Rd. in Durham, NC

According to the release, the following people are still wanted on oustanding warrants:

  • Edward Everette- last known address was the 900 block of “Carolina Park” near Charlotte St. in Laurinburg
  • Brittany Hunt, of Barnes Bridge Rd./Boykin Ln. in Laurinburg
  • Christy Nicole Hall, of “The Truck Stop” near the 9200 block of Milton St. in Laurinburg

On January 25, the SCSO Narcotic and Vice Unit also conducted a search warrant at 409 Maple Street in Laurinburg after an investigation on the residence, the release also said. “During the search phase of the address, illegal narcotics were seized as well as a substantial amount of high powered weapons, assault rifles, shotguns, hand guns, a sachet amount of ammunition all were located and seized.”

Bobby Lee Locklear and Jessica Page Revels, both of 409 Maple Street in Laurinburg, were arrested.
