COLUMBIA- St. James High School made its first appearance in the Class 3A state title game on Saturday, but the Sharks could not lock up a championship.

The Sharks fell 5 to 1 to A.C. Flora. It was also the Falcons first appearance in the title game.

After a scoreless first half, St. James struck first in the second half when Tristen Fields found the back of the net.

However, the Falcons quickly responded and evened the score. A.C. Flora’s Robert Weldon scored a hat trick.
