MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – Two St. James baseball players signed letters of intent on Friday. Outfielder Liam Bloom and catcher Hunter Spencer signed with Coppin State University.
Bloom batted .338 with 16 RBIs last season. He added 13 runs scored and stole 10 bases for the Sharks, who finished as the Region VII-AAA runner-up.
Spencer recorded 17 assists and 10 put outs last season. He also posted a 1.71 ERA in 16 1/3 innings on the mound.
