Last week, Horry County Special Olympics traveled to El Paso, Texas to compete in the National Unified Bowling Tournament.

Two athletes, Rosemary Landoskey and Jack Young, along with their Unified partners Mary Clarke and Brandon Young, started bowling together in the Unified Sports division last fall.

Both competed in doubles and team divisions during the national tournament. The South Carolina Sharks won 4thplace in the team division. Landoskey and Clarke earned a Bronze and the Young brothers, Jack and Brandon, brought home Gold, both in doubles competitions.

Both teams faced challenging opponents, but continuously strived to give their best throughout the entire competition. The team also showed great
