LUMBERTON, NC – Southeastern Healthcare in Lumberton announces an Open House/Garden Party and the Gibson Cancer Center Open House.
Southeastern Health will host an open house, ribbon cutting and garden party on the grounds of WoodHaven Nursing, Alzheimer’s and Rehabilitation Center on Monday, May 9 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The event will mark the opening of the Southeastern Rehabilitation WoodHaven short-term rehab wing as well as WoodHaven’s Garden Path to Healing garden on the grounds. A ribbon cutting will be held in conjunction with the Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce at 3:30 p.m. at the rear entrance to the facility. Light refreshments will be served and tours of the short-term rehab wing will include artwork by local children as part of the Robeson County Arts Council’s Wee the Little People project. The garden party will include of live music, tea and lemonade.
Southeastern Health will host an open house at Gibson Cancer Center (GCC) on Wednesday, May 25 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. The event will mark the grand re-opening of the entire center following a fire in June 2015 that severely damaged its radiation oncology wing and required the temporary relocation of its medical oncology unit. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served and tours will be provided of the renovated center. GCC is located at 1200 Pine Run Drive in Lumberton.
