A dad’s photo with his daughter’s T-shirt warning away boys has exploded on social media.

Gavin G. Johnston, a former British soldier, posted the photo and it went wild after showing up on Reddit on Saturday.

The heading for the photo was “Dad security” and in just 4 days it has nearly 400,000 Facebook likes.

The image features Johnston with his only daughter, who is wearing a T-shirt that says “Steer clear boys… this is my dad!”

The T-shirt also features a prominent photo of Johnston, complete with his tattoos and large flexing muscles.

For a while, media outlets were reporting the photo was of a guy who first put the photo on Facebook.

But, Johnston jumped in on Facebook on Thursday and took credit for the photo, also posting another photo with his daughter, who clearly doesn’t seem excited about the new-found fame.

“Only started as a joke on Facebook, next thing i know it’s escalated to this!!!” Johnston wrote.

“She’s my princess though….so it was joke no joke.”
