The Society of Stranders’ (SOS) Spring Safari is Friday, April 17, through Sunday, April 26, on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The SOS Spring Safari is hosted by North Myrtle Beach’s premier shag dancing society, bringing what is known as the biggest adult party on the East Coast to the beach community each year.
The 10-day event brings thousands to the Grand Strand, featuring “tea parties” in the local lounges, live music and dancing along North Myrtle Beach’s Main Street, shag dance classes and entertaining nightlife. The celebration also includes the annual ACSC Parade on Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m. on Main Street.
