Socastee, S.C. (WBTW)- Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire off Highway 544 in Socastee Saturday afternoon.
Crews say the call came in around 1:30pm and they got the fire out around 2:15pm. Firefighter says the home did have some damage but one was injured.
Crews contained the fire at the home on Karen Road to the attic. The homeowner was able to save items from the home.
Horry County Fire Rescue is now investigating.
