SOCASTEE – Jace Crowe hit a two-run home run to lift R-S Central past Socastee 2-1 in the Mingo Bay Classic Tuesday.
Crowe’s blast broke a scoreless tie in the sixth inning. Socastee’s only run came in on a wild pitch in the bottom half of the inning. The Braves got a runner in scoring position in the bottom of the seventh, but Kevin Fuies grounded out to first to end the game.
