The rain, snow, and sleet mix changed over to all rain overnight. A brief period of freezing drizzle is still possible northwest of I-95 and into North Carolina early this morning, but accumulations are  not expected.

Around 7 pm Wednesday, snow was reported in Lumberton, Some snow was also reported in Dillon and Hartsville. Light sleet was reported in other parts of the Pee Dee Wednesday evening.

Temperatures were well above freezing, but a layer of colder air above ground lead to the snow and sleet. Even though temperatures at the surface fell overnight, temperatures well above the ground actually warmed up. This caused the snow and sleet to change over to all rain.

The rain will continue to move away this morning, but it will stay cloudy, cold, and breezy for the rest of the day.
