WAKE FOREST, N.C. — A snake slithered up the wall of a fast-food restaurant in Wake County this past weekend.
The snake was seen hugging the stonework of the exterior of the McDonald’s in the Heritage area of Wake Forest on Saturday night.
Randy Borth, of Franklinton, pulled up to the restaurant around 9:30 p.m. and snapped a photo of the snake.
The snake might have been trying to avoid torrential rains in Wake Forest at the time.
Borth said that no one else was around when he took the photo during a downpour.
A Wake Forest mom and her young children were at the McDonald’s later when the snake was removed.
Sonya Morales said that Wake Forest Police showed up and moved the snake to a grassy area next to the McDonald’s parking lot.
