COLUMBIA, SC – Former North Charleston police officer Michael Slager’s jury selection for his upcoming federal trial will be held in Columbia on May 9.
The trial will begin May 15th in Charleston.
He is charged in the 2015 shooting of Walter Scott.
He was shot and killed as he ran from a traffic stop.
The state trial against Slager ended in a mistrial in December.
