GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – Drug Enforcement Unit agents arrested a Georgetown man they say is a “significant drug dealer” in Georgetown County.

Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Carrie Weaver says drug unit agents conducting a street level

operation on Liberty Street Wednesday saw the suspect, Kineshon Pino, also known as “Squirrel,” engage in a drug trade. The investigation is part of an emphasis on heroin related drug distribution, adds Weaver.

Agents recognized Pino as a wanted suspected drug dealer who had multiple warrants out for his arrest. While taking Pino into custody, agents discovered about $2,000 worth of heroin, crack and over one pound of marijuana in his possession. In addition, Pino had cash, digital scales and packaging materials, Weaver confirms.

Pino, 28, is charged with trafficking heroin third offense, distribution of heroin third offense, possession with intent to distribute crack and marijuana third offense, distributing controlled substances within one half mile of a school or park, driving under suspension seventh offense and being a habitual traffic offender along with two active Georgetown County bench warrants.
